Calvary Community Church Houston : Joining Calvary

1. Indicate Your Desire to Join Calvary Using the Calvary Connection Card

Calvary Connection Cards can be found in the church bulletin, at the Welcome Center, or at the end of each row of seats in our auditorium. After you fill out the information side of the card, turn it over and check "I'm interested in: Joining your church." Please turn in that completed Connection Card in the offering basket, at the Welcome Center, or to one of the greeters. Soon, one of the pastors will call you to set up a "get-to-know-you" appointment.

2. Participate in a Discovery Day

Discovery Day is a quarterly Sunday seminar from 9:00 a.m. until noon, and is led by a member of the pastoral team. This seminar explores Calvary's vision and structure and is geared for new members. Prospective members are welcome to attend, and many do.

3. Attend a New Members' Fellowship

These informal fellowship luncheons give pastors and new members an opportunity to get acquainted. They follow the Discovery Day seminar from noon to 2 p.m.

4. Get involved in a Small Group

Our Small Groups are the life-blood of Calvary. These groups provide us an opportunity to develop meaningful relationships and express God's love through ministry.

5. Get your picture taken

We take your picture which allows everyone to share in the joy of your joining the Calvary family! Photos are taken at Discovery Day and are for internal use only.

6. Get Introduced on at a Corporate Worship Service

Following Discover Day and after completion of the New Member Process, we will introduce our new members to the Calvary family during a corporate worship service.

7. Join Calvary’s Email Lists and Connect on Social Media

Sign up for Calvary emails. The process includes several steps, including responding to a confirmation (opt-in) email. Sign up today! You will receive weekly updates with Calvary news. You may also opt-in to join the prayer chain email list.
